There is no need to buy any special equipment when switching from lead to TungSteel. It is easier to work with than lead
The weights are easy to fit. They do not need cutting or swaging, and there is no concern about lead exposure in the workshop.
The hammer range offer weights from 0.1 to 2 grams. The key weighting range covers from 3 to 30 grams.
TungSteel is a combination of two different metals, stainless steel and tungsten heavy alloy.
While our range of stainless steel plugs is wide and affordable, the more expensive tungsten plugs are heavy and dense: e.g. the 20 grams weight fits in a small 12mm hole. TungSteel offers new possibilities for Dynamic Touch Weight and Precision Touch Design (PTD).
Directions of use: First, prepare the plugs by sanding all around with coarse sandpaper (#80 grit). Remove any handling grease with a degreaser like Isopropyl Alcohol. Fill the drill holes with PVC-e glue.
